Proaim 100mm Camera Tripod Stand

Heavy-duty 100 mm tripod for large camera and support setups

Proaim 100mm Camera Tripod Stand is a heavy-duty aluminium support system designed for professional video, studio and location work. Its integrated 100 mm bowl makes it compatible with professional half-ball levelling systems and fluid heads, while the wide stance and reinforced twin-tube construction provide a stable platform for heavy camera packages, sliders, jib setups and other production accessories.

The tripod adjusts from approximately 85 cm to 152 cm. Proaim currently rates this version for up to 80 kg at minimum height and up to 35 kg at maximum height, so the available payload depends significantly on leg extension and working height. The stand itself weighs approximately 6.5 kg.

Stable aluminium construction with removable spreaders

The tripod uses high-grade aluminium and two-section legs with locking knobs for secure height adjustment. A removable mid-level spreader helps control the leg angle and adds torsional stability, particularly on uneven surfaces or when the tripod needs a narrower footprint.

Our rental configuration also includes a ground spreader, giving crews another way to stabilize the legs on studio floors and other relatively flat surfaces. Having both spreader options makes the system easier to adapt to different locations and support requirements.

100 mm half-ball levelling with Manfrotto 500BALL

The included Manfrotto 500BALL 100 mm Half Ball Leveler allows compatible heads to be levelled quickly inside the tripod bowl without repeatedly adjusting individual leg lengths. This is especially useful for video work where a level pan axis is essential for controlled horizontal movement.

The 100 mm interface also makes the tripod suitable for larger professional fluid heads and heavier rigs than compact 75 mm support systems.

Complete rental package

Our rental set includes the Proaim 100mm Camera Tripod Stand, removable mid-level spreader, ground spreader, carrying bag and Manfrotto 500BALL 100 mm Half Ball Leveler. The setup is a practical choice for studio cameras, cinema rigs, telephoto configurations, sliders and other applications where high stability and payload capacity are more important than lightweight transport.
