Shoulder Rig Kit For Sony FX6 SmallRig 4125

The SmallRig 4125 Shoulder Rig Kit for Sony FX6 is a complete package that turns the compact FX6 into a comfortable shoulder-mount camera, much like a classic ENG camcorder. It lets you shoot handheld for longer and more steadily, with the weight of the camera, lens and battery resting on your shoulder. It is a great fit for documentary, news-style work, events, interviews and any shoot where the operator spends the whole day on the camera.

V-mount power

You mount the V-mount plate with its power cable on the rear rods, so you can run the camera off a large V-mount battery instead of small BP-U packs. That means much longer runtimes per charge, and the rear battery doubles as a counterweight for the lens.

Shoulder pad and quick tripod switching

The silicone Shoulder Pad Pro has a two-layer quick-release plate on top for balancing the camera front to back. At the front there is a vertically adjustable 15mm rod clamp. Underneath, a built-in Sony VCT-14 compatible base lets you move the whole rig from shoulder to a tripod fitted with a VCT-14 plate, and back again, in seconds, without stripping anything down.

Ergonomics: original FX6 handle and wooden grip

The 3403 rosette adapter lets you move the original FX6 handgrip, with its zoom rocker and REC button, onto an extension arm in front of you. On the left you mount a rosewood grip with an ARRI rosette. The extension arms adjust from about 167 to 255 mm, so you can set a comfortable hand spacing. The 1831 adapter is a reinforced version of the original LCD mount, and the 15mm lens support takes strain off the mount when you use heavier glass.
