GoPro Mission 1 Pro

Released in May 2026, the GoPro MISSION 1 PRO is a compact fixed-lens cinema camera designed for productions that need the durability and mounting flexibility of an action camera with image quality closer to a professional compact cinema system. It uses a new 50MP 1-inch Quad Bayer sensor and GP3 processor, giving filmmakers higher resolution, more dynamic range and stronger low-light performance than earlier HERO-generation cameras while keeping a small, rugged body for vehicle rigs, travel work, sports, POV shots and tight production spaces.

8K60, 4K240 and Open Gate recording

The camera records up to 8K 60p in 16:9, 4K up to 240p and Burst Slo-Mo at 1080p 960 fps for short ultra-high-speed shots. Open Gate modes use the full 4:3 sensor area at up to 8K 30p or 4K 120p, giving editors extra vertical image area for reframing to horizontal, vertical or square delivery. GoPro specifies up to 14 stops of dynamic range at the sensor, while 10-bit color, GP-Log2 and HLG HDR provide flexible options for grading and mixed-camera workflows.

HyperSmooth stabilization remains available for handheld, mounted and fast-moving shots without a separate gimbal. The fixed GoPro lens offers a wide native field of view, making the camera especially practical for car rigs, helmets, suction mounts, compact remote positions and other shots where a larger cinema body would be difficult to place.

Rugged body and production-ready rental kit

MISSION 1 PRO is waterproof to 20 metres without an additional housing, making it suitable for demanding outdoor and underwater work. Its mounting system includes GoPro mounting fingers, 1/4-20 threads and magnetic-latch compatibility, so it can move quickly between conventional support, action accessories and custom rigs.

Our rental package includes two GoPro Enduro 2 batteries, a Dual Battery Charger and USB power adapter for longer shooting days. A 256GB microSD card provides high-capacity recording media, while the USB-C to USB-C cable, microSD-to-SD adapter and GoPro camera case support charging, offloading and safe transport between locations.
