The DJI Osmo Pocket 4P is a compact camera with a built-in gimbal, launched in Europe in July 2026. Its main feature is a dual-camera system: a wide-angle camera with a 1-inch CMOS sensor and a 20mm f/2 lens, plus a second camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor and a 60mm f/1.8 lens. Both focal lengths are full-frame equivalents. This lets you switch from a wide view of your surroundings to a portrait or detail shot without changing cameras. The wide-angle lens suits travel videos, interiors and selfie vlogs, while the longer lens provides tighter framing and a more blurred background. It is a practical option when you want a variety of shots from a small, easy-to-use setup.
Stable handheld footage and subject tracking
The three-axis mechanical gimbal helps reduce camera shake during handheld recording. There is no need to mount a separate camera on a stabiliser or balance a rig before filming. ActiveTrack 8.0 helps keep your chosen subject in the frame, making it useful when you are filming yourself without a camera operator. The 2-inch OLED touchscreen lets you check your composition and adjust settings directly on the camera. Weighing approximately 230 g, it is easy to carry on a trip, take to an event or use for social media content. It can also serve as an additional camera for quick cutaways and behind-the-scenes footage on a larger production.
4K slow motion and flexibility in colour grading
In standard video mode, the camera records in 4K at up to 60 fps. For slow motion, the wide-angle camera supports 4K at up to 240 fps, while the 60mm camera reaches up to 200 fps. These modes let you slow down movement, gestures and action while retaining 4K resolution. If you plan to colour grade your footage, the 10-bit D-Log 2 profile provides additional flexibility in post-production. DJI specifies up to 17 stops of dynamic range for the wide-angle camera in this profile. One important limitation: D-Log 2 is available only at the 1× zoom setting. The camera also has 103 GB of built-in storage, so you can record without a memory card and expand storage using a microSD card.
