DJI Osmo Pocket 3

Released in October 2023, the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is a compact 3-axis gimbal camera built for creators, documentary crews, travel productions, interviews and fast-moving branded content. Its 1-inch stacked CMOS sensor is a major upgrade over the smaller sensor used in the Pocket 2, providing stronger low-light performance and more flexible image quality in a body that remains small enough for discreet handheld shooting. A 2-inch rotatable OLED touchscreen makes it easy to switch between horizontal and vertical operation without rebuilding the camera setup.

1-inch sensor, 4K 120p and 10-bit color

The camera records standard 4K video at up to 60 fps and offers 4K 120 fps in Slow Motion mode. For more extreme slow motion, Full HD can be recorded at up to 240 fps. DJI also provides 10-bit D-Log M and HLG recording, giving editors more flexibility for color grading and matching footage with larger cameras. Full-pixel fast focusing helps maintain sharpness on moving subjects, while the 20mm-equivalent F2.0 lens gives a naturally wide perspective that works well for walk-and-talk shots, interiors and travel content.

Three-axis mechanical stabilization keeps movement smooth without relying only on digital stabilization. ActiveTrack 6.0 adds face detection, dynamic framing and subject tracking, making the camera especially practical for solo operators, presenters and moving interview setups.

DJI Mic 2 and extended handheld workflow

Our rental package is configured as a complete mobile production kit. It includes a DJI Mic 2 transmitter with windscreen and clip magnet for direct wireless audio, plus the Osmo Pocket 3 Wide-Angle Lens for situations where a broader field of view is useful. The standard handle with 1/4-inch thread and Mini Tripod provide quick support options for handheld, tabletop and fixed-position shots.

The camera itself can record for up to approximately 166 minutes at 1080p/24fps under DJI laboratory conditions; at 4K/60fps DJI specifies up to approximately 116 minutes. The included Battery Handle extends shooting time further and is especially useful for interviews, events and longer travel sequences. A USB-C PD charging cable, wrist strap and carrying bag complete the kit.
